Diverse advantage

Diverse Advantage consultants have many years of experience providing organizations with diversity, equity and inclusion training, policy development, and strategic planning.

Our approach is to work with you wherever you’re starting from. We take a non-judgemental approach to DEI and recognize that we all have to start somewhere, and believe that all people have something to learn from each other.

We are a collective of consultants who each have their own areas of expertise that we’re able to draw on as needed - such as LGBTQ communities, accessibility, health equity, racialized communities, and gender diversity. All of our consultants have extensive experience and have completed courses, diplomas and degrees in adult education principles and diversity and inclusion.

We work with you to identify your goals and needs, we develop strategies that fit your organization, and work with you to embed diversity, equity and inclusion into every aspect of your organization.

Diverse Advantage is a certified diverse supplier through the Canadian Gay and Lesbian Chamber of Commerce.

I was fortunate enough to attend a Diverse Advantage Consulting workshop at my workplace recently. The session that I attended was to understand bias, anti-oppression, privilege and much more. Our instructor’s name was Donna Turner and she was quite informative and engaging. My co-workers and I were very comfortable sharing personal stories as Donna walked us through different perspectives and ways that we could handle unique situations. I think many peoples’ eyes were opened during this highly educational session as there are so many changes in our world that I feel need to be addressed in every workplace. I highly recommend Diverse Advantage Consulting and I thank you for providing this important service.
